CHI KUNG FOR HEALTH AND
VITALITY
THE SCIENTIFIC BASIS OF CHI
Some people may be tempted to say, “Where is chi? I
can’t see it or feel it?” These people forget that they
can’t see or feel air either. Actually, chi is
everywhere around us, and everywhere inside us. We
normally cannot see or feel it because of the limitation
of our eyes and other senses. Our eyes, for example, can
only see electromagnetic waves between wavelengths of
0.4 and 0.8 micron (that is, 0.0004 and 0.0008
millimeters), whereas the known electromagnetic spectrum
spans from 0.000000047 micron to over 30 kilometers! Chi
happen to fall outside the exceedingly narrow range of
electromagnetic waves visible to our human eyes.
